What's Included?
We will teach the process of soy candle making, explain candle care & safety, and show you how to make your own customized candles, in the comfort of your own home!

Our parties have a minimum of 4 guests ($160); and each additional guest is $40 each. Candle Parties typically have between 4 to 10 guests- if your space can accommodate larger groups, let's chat!
We start with a "Name That Scent" game where you and your friends test your sniffer skills- all while learning how candle fragrances are layered and built. Then, from our collection of high-quality fragrance oils, you learn to customize your own scent.

We help you pour the hot soy wax and set up your candle to cure. Lastly, you will need to doodle a label design for your one-of-a-kind candle, made by you!

COMMERCIAL CANDLE MAKING CLASSES
The Details
Our DIY Commercial Candle Class Experiences are about 90-120 minutes, we are equipped for commercial "parties" of up to 25 guests, depending on space and set up.
​
For safety reasons, we prefer to keep our classes small when we have younger guests (children ages 8-14) but can adjust with extra adult helpers. Meaning, a "mom and me" group would work but we can't manage a school classroom of 30 4th graders on our own.
Nor would we ever WANT to do that without any helpers... ;)
What is needed from the commercial host?
An electrical outlet and flat safe surface (for our wax melters); sturdy work spaces for guests. Table groups of 4-6 work best.

What does Seattle Candle Girl bring?
Everything else! We will bring all the equipment and tools, wax, fragrance oils, candle jars, even the paper towels.

Through our candle DIY class, tweens and teens will learn about ratios and fractions, how to use a scale, and more.
Adults mainly enjoy the opportunity to unleash their inner alchemist while creating a customized candle scent that is perfect for their home needs.
A great replacement from typical baby or bridal shower games, our Candle DIY Classes give everyone a chance to get to know each other but with an activity that's actually fun- with great results!
